For the Beyond Fashion show this year, I wanted to focus on closures in clothing. I crafted pants that can be opened up completely with a row of buttons on each side, and a shirt laced up along the top of each arm and the front, and then secured with ties on the neck and wrists.
I tend to dress very covered up. I wanted to explore the eroticism of that unknown, of what could be revealed. I wanted to create an outfit that symbolized that dichotomy. The outfit is very closed off but with the option to open up at the very seams.
